In completing its mission, the Task Force has reviewed materials
from a number of other governmental agencies. Many of these
materials provide useful information about ways property
owners can prepare for floods and mitigate the damage caused
by flooding. Some of these agencies have prepared their own
assessments of the April flood event. While we do not necessarily
endorse the conclusions of these independent assessments,
they may offer other perspectives on the flooding.
